Medicare Guidance Made Simple

Approaching age 65 or preparing for Medicare enrollment can bring a flood of mail, advertisements, and conflicting information. Understanding your options, enrollment timelines, and coverage choices can feel overwhelming, especially when every situation is unique.

At Penn Rise Advisors, we help individuals and families navigate Medicare by providing education, guidance, and personalized plan comparisons. As independent insurance brokers, we can help you understand your options and make informed decisions based on your healthcare needs, budget, and retirement goals.

Medicare made simple in three steps

1. Review

Every Medicare decision begins with understanding your current situation. We review factors such as:

  • Your age and enrollment timeline
  • Current health insurance coverage
  • Employment status and employer benefits
  • Spousal coverage considerations
  • Healthcare needs and prescription medications

For many individuals approaching age 65, it may be beneficial to begin evaluating Medicare options three to six months before becoming eligible. Early planning can help you understand enrollment requirements and avoid unnecessary delays or penalties.

2. Compare

Medicare offers several coverage options, each with different costs, provider networks, and benefits. We help you compare available plans by reviewing:

  • Monthly premiums
  • Out-of-pocket costs
  • Prescription drug coverage
  • Provider and hospital networks
  • Additional plan benefits

Our role is to help you evaluate the available options and identify plans that align with your healthcare and financial priorities.

3. Enroll

Once you've selected a plan, we can assist with the enrollment process and help answer questions that may arise along the way.

How We Help

We provide guidance to both new and current Medicare beneficiaries as they evaluate their Medicare coverage options. Our approach focuses on helping clients understand how the different parts of Medicare work together and how coverage choices may fit into their overall retirement strategy.

We also assist veterans in understanding how their VA healthcare benefits may coordinate with Medicare coverage and what factors may be important when evaluating available options.
